Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Besides cookies, we keep some information in your browser's local storage, session storage and IndexedDB. This page lists what we store and why. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data overall.

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. A language cookie and a theme setting remember your choices. A random device identifier, kept in a cookie and in local storage, helps us stop abuse of sign-ups and free credits.

These can't be switched off on the site. Blocking them in your browser signs you out or resets your preferences.

So you can find your videos without an account, we remember the videos you bought in this browser and which finished videos you've already seen. When you sign in or go to checkout, the photo you picked is kept in your browser (IndexedDB) so it's still there when you come back, and it's cleared once it's used. We also note a checkout in progress so we can confirm it when you return.

This information stays in your browser and isn't used for advertising.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and steps work. It sets its own cookies, such as _ga. We also keep, in local storage, the page that first brought you here and the last template you used, so purchases can be credited to the right page.

Analytics never receives your photos or videos.

Checkout happens on Stripe's pages. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud; see Stripe's privacy policy for details.

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies doesn't change how the site works. Blocking the sign-in cookie signs you out, and clearing site data removes the list of videos bought in this browser. The email we send after checkout always links to your video.
